Eyecare Plus has done it again!
The proudly Australian-owned group of independent optometrists has once again been the clear winner in the most recent Canstar Blue ratings for optometry in Australia. See it here.
For the second time in as many years, Eyecare Plus is the only optometry provider to be awarded five stars for overall patient satisfaction in the wide-ranging survey.
The independent optometrists also scored the maximum five stars for other sub-categories. This includes service and advice, range of products available, customer service, accessibility of the store and after-sale service.
Eyecare Plus director and optometrist Dr Soo Jin Nam stated, “We are so pleased to be the 5 Star Canstar Blue 2019 winner in optometry, two years running.
“Eyecare Plus is the only independently owned group of optometrists in Australia on this list. Congrats to all our wonderful Eyecare Plus practices Australia-wide.”
Dr Soo Jin Nam is one of the owners of five Eyecare Plus practices in the suburbs of Bankstown, Broadway, Chullora, Kareela and Roselands and a practice in Hillsdale called Eyecare Kids which focuses on children’s vision.

This win for Eyecare Plus is a big win for independent optometry, as every other provider surveyed is part of a large corporation.
“Winning Canstar last year gave our marketing the added credibility of an independent third party endorsement, and being able to double down on that approach for the next 12 months is very exciting.
“We’ve learnt a lot from the win in 2018, and we’re much better equipped to promote the win in the year ahead,” said Simon Lewis.
